Is a damn good discount. This is what the guy at the camera shop offered me for a camera case - original price: 38 SD, final offer: 25 SD.

Unfortunately I didn't pay 25 - I paid 34...when I bought a similar case from a different vendor earlier in the day. Damn. But hey, knowing is half the battle - if I can get even close to 45% off my future purchases through bargaining - I'll be a happy customer. (note - if I got 45% off of my original offer of 180 SD for a tailored suit - that means I could get one for about 50 US bucks! Now, how much for shipping? Also, before today I had no real desire to buy a suit anytime soon)

Welcome...

  • Back home!
    Well, the RTW trip is finished, but I think I'm gonna keep the site up for a while and use it as a place to report on some travels stateside. Hopefully I'll have a few good adventures sooner than later. Until then, the site's going to be displayed in chronological order (as opposed to the blog standard reverse-chrono). Enjoy!
